Anime Tactical Simulator Dungeon Guide — Floor Strategies and Boss Mechanics

The Dungeon is the primary endgame PvE content in Anime Tactical Simulator. It consists of ten progressively difficult floors, each containing multiple enemy waves followed by a boss encounter. Clearing dungeon floors rewards valuable evolution materials, Gems, and exclusive drops that cannot be obtained anywhere else. The Dungeon system is where team composition, unit investment, and strategic play matter most. Unlike adventure mode where you can auto-farm with minimal attention, the upper dungeon floors demand optimized teams and an understanding of boss mechanics to clear consistently.

The first three dungeon floors serve as an introduction to the system and can be cleared by any decently leveled team. Enemies have low HP and deal minimal damage, so raw DPS is more important than survivability at this stage. Any team composition with at least one strong DPS unit from our tier list can handle these floors. The primary purpose of farming floors one through three is to collect Rare and Epic Evolution Stones for your earliest evolutions. New players should start running these floors as soon as their team can handle it, using Keys from codes to get extra attempts.

Floors four through seven represent a significant difficulty spike. Enemy damage increases substantially and boss fights introduce mechanics that require specific counters. You will need at least Legendary-tier units and dedicated healing from Shenron or Sakura Healer to survive these floors. The recommended team for mid-tier dungeon floors includes one strong DPS, one Tank, one Healer, and one flexible slot. Prioritize AOE damage for clearing the regular waves quickly, then switch your strategy to sustained damage and survival for the boss encounter. These floors drop Epic and Legendary Evolution Stones, making them critical for mid-game progression.

The upper dungeon floors are the game's ultimate PvE challenge. Mythic-tier units are almost required to clear floors eight through ten consistently. Boss mechanics include enrage timers that exponentially increase damage after a set time, damage reflection phases where attacking the boss hurts your own team, and healing phases where the boss regenerates HP if you do not deal enough burst damage. The meta strategy for floors eight through ten is to lead with Aizen's DEF debuff, then burst with Mugetsu's AOE during the debuff window. Vegito's defense-piercing skill handles armored bosses. A strong Tank and Support round out the team. Learn each boss's attack pattern — knowing when to burst and when to shield is more important than raw stats.

Understanding what drops from each dungeon floor helps you decide where to spend your limited Keys. Floors one through three drop primarily Rare and Epic Evolution Stones with a small chance of an Epic unit shard. Floors four through seven drop Epic and Legendary Stones plus occasional Legendary unit shards and bonus Gems. Floors eight through ten drop Legendary and Mythic Stones, Mythic unit shards, exclusive cosmetics, and significant Gem rewards. The Gem rewards alone from clearing floor ten often exceed what you earn from a full day of adventure farming.

Each dungeon attempt costs one Key. There are several ways to acquire them without spending Robux. Redeeming codes is the most common source of free Dungeon Keys — many codes include one to three keys in their reward bundle. Daily login rewards and quest completions also grant keys periodically. You can purchase additional Keys from the in-game shop using Gems. The 2x Gems gamepass indirectly helps by giving you more purchasing power. During special events, Tsukikage occasionally releases event codes that include bonus Dungeon Keys. Build a consistent key income by redeeming every available code and completing daily tasks.
